The Veterinary Surgery in Doha was established at the start of 2005.

Dr. Khaled El Hossan an Egyptian Canadian Veterinarian was the master mind behind the idea.

Dr. Khaled runs two other Veterinary practices, one in Muscat (The Private Veterinary Hospital) and one in Cairo (Vets 4 Pets)

He says:

I have been considering starting a practice in Doha for the last four years as I have seen lots of pets relocating from Muscat to Doha, I started visiting Doha on a regular basis, and realized it would be very difficult to open a practice there as currently there was not one single professional veterinary practice in town, and yet there was a huge demand for one.

After a full year of trips back and forth the surgery was born!

I ensured that we should have the most up to date equipment and I traveled to Germany to procure this.

All was finally set and ready to go and the practice was launched in Feb 2005, with the aim of offering a first class service to all the Pets of Doha, we offer all possible care to keep them healthy and happy.
